Skilltree was started in 2013 with an ambitious goal :
To allow awesome, interesting people to curate “education” by sharing interesting skills and hobbies with their community, and to allow community members to learn new things without the expense and time commitments typical of formal education.

We also wanted to take learning offline, since so many people have expressed the desire to meet more people and make friends with similar interests in Toronto!

For summer and fall of 2016, we’ll be working on new projects and ideas for a great 2017, including changing our structure and expanding the opportunities for our community to do amazing things!

If you want to get involved with Skilltree, check out our Teacher section, or contact us at info (at) skilltree.ca  and we’ll talk!
